Basically I have two external monitors connected via the RTX 2070 eGPU. The third and most recent BSOD I'll include happened today when I was messing around in windows display settings configuring my multiple monitors. So I'll include those BSOD reports but I'm not sure if they have anything to do with the cause of the freeze, or if I just caused them by unplugging the eGPU while it was trying to do something. So these freezes themselves don't create a BSOD, however a couple times before doing a hard restart I unplugged the eGPU from the laptop and this caused a BSOD. I haven't had any freezes while gaming or really stressing the 2070. Like I can start the machine, plug in the external graphics, go play FFXIV or Overwatch or D2R at max settings for 3 hours with no issue at all, but then later this freeze might happen while I'm just watching Youtube or something. I want to think the 2070 is in good shape because I've had no problem gaming for hours on it this whole time. The only thing I think I know is that it only happens when I have the eGPU with the RTX 2070 connected. So I thought it was only when playing video and I thought it was only when the 1650ti was enabled but both those ideas were just proven wrong. So far up to this point the freeze only had happened while watching video, either on Youtube (in Firefox) or with VLC Media Player, but after it happened with the 1650ti disabled I came on here to start a post and it froze again while I just had Firefox open, my device manager, and dxdiag window. I thought there could be some conflict between the internal NVIDIA GPU and my external one, so I disabled the 1650ti in my device manager and I thought that solved the problem because it worked fine for a couple weeks, I didn't restart the machine at all in these couple weeks, only let it sleep when not in use.Ībout 5 days ago I got a new desk and hand to unplug everything so I shut down the laptop and upon starting it back up I was having these freezes again, they plagued me for a day or so before I checked and saw the 1650ti was enabled again in my device manager so I disabled that and it worked fine for 4 days so I thought for sure that was the solution, but tonight I had the same kind of freeze and the 1650ti was disabled. I had this freeze happen a few times when I first got the laptop (it's a replacement Razer sent me when they couldn't fix my older model laptop). The laptop is a Razer Blade Stealth 13" RZ09-03272E82-R3U1 and has integrated "Intel Iris Xe Graphics", as well as an "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti with Max-Q Design" built in, and I use a Razer Core X eGPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 in it. Sometimes it takes hours to happen or sometimes it happens pretty quick after booting. I've been having an issue for a few weeks since I got this new laptop where my screens completely freeze, sound stops, and I need to hard restart.
